9 Week Update

How far along are you? 9 weeks, 6 days! Almost to double-digits, whoo!

How I’m feeling: A little less bloated. A lot more itchy. Especially my torso.

Total weight gain: I’m still avoiding the scale like the plague. I will weigh soon though!

How big is baby? Baby is the size of a tater tot. Uterus is about the size of a brontosaurus.  Kidding! That’s only what it feels like. It’s really the size of a grapefruit but daaaang is my mid-section thickening up.

Stretch marks? I think I found some when I was lathering myself with cocoa butter! I;m still unsure what to think about this.

Sleep:  Inconsistent at best. I’m having an easier time falling asleep, but a harder time staying asleep. Averaging a sporadic 4 hours a night.

Best moment this week: Getting frozen yogurt! It’s the little things 🙂

Movement: Does gas count?

Food cravings: Still have a hankering for biscuits and gravy. But guess who had eggs for the first time in 2 months?! I did! The egg aversion has left.

Food aversions: Cabbage. Used to love it. Laid eyes on it, almost gagged.

Belly button in or out: Still in there.

What I miss: SLEEP. Oh! And not peeing every 5 minutes.

What I’m looking forward to: Getting to the double-digits in weeks – almost to 10!

Milestone: Baby is no longer an embryo, the little nugget is now a fetus. He or she is becoming more baby-like. The first trimester is almost finished. I’m getting more and more excited.
